/ Passive / Scanner : Cellular Surveying

The Scanner range is a powerful and flexible portable multi-protocol cellular network characterization survey system.

Scanner

Cellular Surveying
Scanner, available in 2 forms- portable and handheld, utilises Revector’s powerful application suite of optimised and efficient methods for collecting and characterising GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, 5G NR and Wi-Fi networks. The Scanner includes all of the functionality to support traditional network characterisation, with many non-traditional functions that allow Scanner end users to maximise their on-location effectiveness and safety
Scanner can be manually configured by the operator to allow precise tailoring of performance to any given scanning scenario. Scanner identifies new cells quickly with no lengthy synchronization period, decoding overhead parameters while constantly logging signal strength, signal quality parameters and other cell signaling information. Scanner’s Tower Geo passively measures the signal strength and Doppler shift of the cellular signals present during a drive survey to determine the geo-location of all towers.
Powerful & Flexible
The portable vehicle version combines 8 independent 40MHz RF tuners with a highspeed FPGA-based signal processing engine to provide true software defined radio functionality. Scanner provides the power and flexibility of a truly simultaneous multi-band, multi-radio technology scanning solution. Scanner is powerful and flexible but also easy to operate.
